Union Square Rink's 10th Birthday Party + Free Skating! 10-11:30am, To commemorate ten years of outdoor skating at the quintessential San Francisco location, Willy Bietak Productions invites residents and visitors of San Francisco to an all-day celebration featuring free ice skating, performances and birthday treats!

Fort Point History Tour, 11 am-Noon, Learn about the soldiers' lives at Fort Point, the Fort's unique architecture, the defenses of the Golden Gate, and lots more, Presidio of San Francisco, Fort Point.

Day of the Dead, 12-10pm, free, You are invited to the celebration of a traditional Latin American holiday that combines pre-Colombian festivals and indigenous traditions with European rituals for honoring the dead. It is celebrated every year at this same time as Halloween and the Christian holy days of All Saints Day and All Souls Day, Bolinas Community Center.

Meet a Veteran at the Library! 2 – 4pm, Join us at the library to meet a Veteran as they share stories and memorabilia from their service to our country, Fairfax Library.

Día de los Muertos Altar Making, 3:30-5:30pm, Age 5+, Advance sign-up required, create a shoebox altar to honor a loved one, bring a shoebox and a photo of a loved one if you wish, Mill Valley Public Library.

Sunset/Full Moon Walk to the Point Bonita Lighthouse, 5-6:30 pm, Come watch the sunset on the Pacific Ocean and the moon rise over the Golden Gate Bridge from the dramatic landscape of Point Bonita in the Marin Headlands.

Luna Mexicana, 6pm, family friendly performance is filled with festive dancing, colorful costumes, and vibrant music including traditional Mexican folk music and witty electronic fusions. Audience members are encouraged to attend in Day of the Dead attire, Oakland Ballet.

Teams will measure, weigh, study, touch, examine, and squish their way through the lab using their own defrosted octopus specimen. Green Gulch Farm Sunday Children’s Program, 9:45 – 11:45 am, Mindfulness of Gratitude, the beginning of the lecture is especially for children. After this short talk, children leave the zendo to participate in their own program. Activities include seasonal farm projects, mindfulness, yoga, contemplative handwork and ritual. Suggested donation $20.
