🌎 Earth Day Service Projects, 9am – 12pm, "It's Our Turn to Lead", is one that Marin residents have embraced since the first Earth Day celebrations. Let's keep up the good work, Marin! Join us to clean up and restore Bothin Marsh, Corte Madera Creek, Hal Brown Park, or Ring Mountain; be part of the fun and the Earth Day legacy!

Cesar Chavez Holiday Parade and Festival, Celebrates the life and work of this labor and civil rights leader, Parade starts at 11am at Dolores Park, Festival is on 24th Street between Treat and Bryant from 12pm to 5pm, San Francisco.

Spring Fling, 10am-4pm, $25 per person online*, $30 per person at the gate, Enjoy live music, animal encounters, organic food, and hands-on farm and craft activities. Come and celebrate springtime at Slide Ranch. 

Marincello Walk, 10am-12pm, Learn about the infamous Marincello Development was that was planned for this area. See remnants of this once popular idea. We will leave from Tennessee Valley and walk up to the Miwok Trail.

Treasure Island Flea "Mothers Day" Fest

🌎 Earth Day at Corte Madera Creek, 11am-12:30pm, take a short hike along the creek looking for the elusive Ridgeway Clapper Rail, which has been spotted around the marsh. Bring binoculars (or borrow ours) to look at the aquatic birds, such as Black-necked Stilts, American Avocets, Great Egrets, and Buffleheads. If we are lucky, we may even spot a River Otter. We will end the day at the Hal Brown playground for lunch and a little play time for the children.

🌎 Hal Brown Park Discovery Day, 11a,-2pm, scavenger hunt, nature walk, snacks, refreshments, and last but not least, Earth Day festivities. 

The Magic of Poetry, 11am, A Playshop for Kids 7 and up with Marin Poet Laureate Prartho Sereno & Magician Ethan Swope, Marin City Library.

🌎 Free Create-With-Nature Earth Day Celebration on Stinson Beach, 11am-3pm.

Día de los Niños / Día de los Libros (Day of the Child / Day of the Book), 11am-1pm, There will be a puppet show by Caterpillar Puppets, book giveaway, and fun and games after the show. All ages are welcome, but ideal for children ages birth to ten with caregivers,  San Rafael Library.

Wanderlust 108, 7:30am-3:30pm, a “mindful triathlon”: a 5K* run (or walk), an outdoor yoga experience, and a guided meditation – but with a twist, Strollers are welcome as well, we just ask that you are mindful of others walking and running on the 5K course, Kids can also participate. For those 13 and under, tickets are free, Lindley Meadow, San Francisco.

Youth Owls and Woodpeckers with Paul Bannick, ages 8-17, Point Reyes National Seashore (limited to 15 total participants), this event will leave from the Dance Palace in Point Reyes Station and visit Bear Valley and other locations within walking distance of the visitor center.

Youth Bird-a-thon with Sonoma Birding, ages 8-17, Point Reyes National Seashore (limited to 15 total participants.

Early Birdersages 5-8, join an exploration of the Giacomini Wetlands, meet at the Dance Palace, work on a project, and then head to the Giacomini Wetlands or Bear Valley on an exploration, Point Reyes National Seashore.
