FIRST OF THE MUTT

Welcome to the inaugural once-a-month animal adoption segment, "First of the Mutt." Ronnie's Awesome List is proud to partner with various rescue organizations around the Bay Area to feature adorable, adoptable, family-friendly animals find their forever home and help your family find a new best friend.

Elinor comes to us from Kings County Animal Services as part of our Pet Partnership program. She is a big sweetheart who likes people and adores squeaky toys! Give her a squeaky toy and she will self entertain. Elinor will need to lose some weight, perhaps 15 to 20 pounds. Her new adopter should consult their vet to initiate a good weight loss program. A low calorie diet and plenty of exercise will do wonders. We recommend Elinor go to a family with older kids. If you are looking for a sweet dog to share your life, take a look at Elinor, she may be your perfect match!

Cutie and Adrian are a pair of plus-sized, mellow fellows - as gentle and affectionate as you could wish. These 9-year-old boys have lived together for their entire lives and are extremely bonded so they must be adopted together.

If you’re looking for a pair of wonderful and sociable feline ‘hunks of love,’ come meet Cutie and Adrian! As an added bonus, their adoption fees have been sponsored by a generous donor so their adoption is now fee-free!”

Hercules: Hercules is looking to be your hero! He loves to play with other dogs and go for walks with his human friends. Come in and meet hunky little Hercules today at the SF SPCA’s Mission Campus!

PumpkinMeet Pumpkin! She’s a sweet and fluffy girl who enjoys a good snuggle. Pumpkin just celebrated her 14th birthday and is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years!

Eggroll: Got any room in your lap for an adorable little 2 year old Pug/Chihuahua Mix fellow like me? Toss over a treat and I’m happy to climb in and settle down. We could go for some great walks afterward, too. My face is so expressive, especially my big, round eyes. I’m curious about everything, particularly other dogs. Maybe we could sign up for a Small Dog Basic Obedience class and make some new dog and person pals. It would give me some added confidence, too! I just need a good friend to show me the ropes. How about you?

Solo: I am 3 years old and I’ve soared all over the galaxy in the Millennium Falcon in search of the perfect new home. I’m a super cool guy and I’m ready to bring some adventure and excitement to your life! We can play, cuddle, or even just nap! Are you ready to be my co-pilot? Come meet me today!
