MVCode's Winter Break Camps

Knowing how to code is a valuable skill and MVCode's wildly popular winter break camps promises to help your child stay on the cutting edge of today's tech-driven world. What make MVCode's programs stand out is the variety of programs for all skill levels, convenient locations, and hands-on instruction from their talented staff who will help your child put those new talents to use at home and school. Check out the schedule here.

One day and week long camps will be held at their San Francisco, Mill Valley and Redwood City locations. Camps run 9am-3pm with before and after care available and focus on Minecraft plugins, JavaScript and Scratch projects for all levels.

Minecraft: Introduction to ScriptCraft Plugins
Grades 2-8

An MIT project specifically designed for kids ages 8 to 16, Scratch has been used by educators and parents around the world to help kids develop animations, interactive stories, and games through drag-and-drop code blocks.

One Day Camps
Grades 1-8

Experienced students show up for a day to imagine, create and work on a project using either Scratch or JavaScript! Newcomers will be helped through custom-made lessons by our team of experienced instructors, using either of the aforementioned platforms. One thing is for sure, both groups will experience the gratification of bringing their ideas to life over the course of a short, but productive camp session!

The curriculum at MVCode is designed to be fun while developing and building programming skills. Campers take several outdoor breaks, where they play interactive team games and activities, throughout the day.
