Does your child have a passion for video game design and development? Channel their creativity this summer at Roblox Camp with MVCode. Roblox is a community-based game/development platform and its popularity has exploded. It’s currently the #1 gaming site for kids and teens to become virtual explorers in a family-friendly, immersive, 3D environment. Campers will learn how to use Roblox to create and code and learn some exciting Roblox tips and tricks.
Learn the basics of game design, construct compelling environments, create items and quests for players to pursue and learn the basics of the Lua programming language. All levels are welcome. At MVCode, our supportive experts will teach the basic syntax of the language and help you start writing some code to practice. Once you’ve gotten a hang of it, move on to more challenging programs. The possibilities of the platform are infinite.
MVCode’s Roblox curriculum has been specially created for laying the foundation for highly desirable and marketable skills in software engineering and game development. This summer, find likeminded peers to connect and engage to help solve programming questions, support one another and keep the momentum going. The tools provided help teach students the fundamentals of coding and can help them learn how to develop, publish, and even market their own games.
MVCode offers camps in locations across the Mill Valley, Greenbrae, San Francisco, San Mateo and Redwood City. Through MVCode summer camps, students learn skills that are useful not only for creating incredible school projects, but also for laying the foundation for marketable skills in software engineering, mathematics, game development and robotics.
