You may have heard by now, "What Pet Should I Get?" is a new book by Dr. Seuss about a brother and sister faced with a difficult decision. It's scheduled to be released July 28 and I can't wait to get my copy. It's the first new original book by Dr. Seuss in 25 years. The manuscript was discovered by his widow and and his assistant tucked away in a draw. With his classic zany characters and silly rhymes, Dr. Seuss continues to touch the imagination of today's children.
There are two local celebrations for the release of “What Pet Should I Get?” this week.
