Halloween is Tuesday, October 31st, but, don't just settle on one evening of frightening fun. With so many exciting Halloween events and activities happening this month, there's no better time to find family friendly spooky events everywhere. So much family fun it's scary! 

Friday, October 13

Halloween Harvest Festival! 5-7pm, ages 2-12, Carnival Games, Pumpkin Carving and Decorating, Face Painting, Trick or Treat Bag Decorating, Carmel Apples, Bounce House, Marinwood Community Center, San Rafael.

Saturday, October 14

Cornerstone Harvest Pumpkin Patch Festival, 10am-4pm, Sonoma.

Harvest Festival, 11am-4pm, Food Expo, Kids Zone, Community Resources, Garden Expo, Food Trucks, Music and More! Enjoy live music at the finale of our Music in the Park series featuring:  Tortilla Soup, Spazmatics & Motor Dude Zydeco, Cedar Rose Park, Berkeley.

Non-Spooky Halloween Carnival, 10am-2pm, Fun for preschool through elementary aged children! This preschool friendly event is open to the public so bring your friends for games, prizes, food, a photo booth and arts and crafts. (Non-scary) costumes welcome! Goblin Jamboree, 10am-4pm, explore the haunted wonderland complete with games, attractions and live entertainment. Enroll in the witches’ school, take a train or pony ride, visit the petting zoo and enjoy a full brew of games, activities and live entertainment, Bay Area Discovery Museum.

Boo Bash, 5:00-7:00PM - Trick or Treat down Tiburon's Main Street with our downtown merchants 6:00-9:00PM - Follow the jack-o-lantern lit trail to Belvedere Park for a carnival & movie in the park, “Hocus Pocus” beginning at 7pm sharp.

Saturday, October 28

San Raphael School Halloween Festival and Haunted House, 12-4pm, San Rafael.

Pumpkins on Pikes, 2-10pm, one of those very special events where magic is created and experienced by all who attend. The festivities start in the afternoon with great food, music and pumpkin carving. Everyone will get the chance to display their Jack-O-Lantern on a pike in the corn field. When the sun goes down the pumpkins are lit. It is a truly heart warming feeling looking over the glowing corn field to see the individual creations of all who attend, Tara Firma Farms, Petaluma.

Woodland Pet Food Halloween DOGtoberfest & Costume Contest, 3-6, free pet photos, pet sketch artist, pet psychic, animal rescue organizations and adoptions + more! Plus, there will be a Howl’oween Pet Costume Contest as well as free Center-wide trick or treating for kids and their families, Strawberry Village, Mill Valley.

Scaregrove, 3-9pm, costume contests, haunted houses, hay rides, carnival rides, giant inflatables, food for sale and live entertainment, Stern Grove, San Francisco.

Super Natural Halloween Party, 6:30-9pm, Grab your costume and have yourself a ghoulishly great time trick-or-treating your way through the Academy at night—among spooky skulls and spine-tingling specimens! California Academy of Science.

‘Beyond the Reef’ BCLT Halloween Benefit, 8-11pm, All ages welcome , $20 entry / $10 for kids, Bolinas Community Center.

Sunday, October 29

Halloween Faire, 11am-12:30pm, Come in costume to celebrate All-Hallows-Eve with other wizards, witches, ferries, astronauts and cartoon characters. Play carnival games, bounce in the jump house, enjoy the candy & prize hunt and costume parade! Strawberry, Mill Valley.

Halloween Festival! 3:30-5:30pm, Pacheco Plaza, Novato.

Halloween Sausalito, 6-9pm, child friendly Haunted House, BBQ, trick-or-treat, dog costume contest and more, Sausalito City Hall.
