Day of the Dead, 11am-5pm, celebrating the lives of the animals that have passed away on our property. We will also be exploring the roots of this holiday and the conservation efforts of one of its most important participants; the Monarch Butterfly. We, of course, cannot have a celebration on property without doing something special for our animals. Included in the day’s events will be an enrichment building station lead by some of our head animal keepers on property, Safari West, Santa Rosa.

Green Gulch Farm Sunday Children’s Program, 10am, After a short talk, the children leave the zendo to participate in their own special programs. Activities include crafts, seasonal projects on the farm and garden, yoga, and ritual. Please check in before the program at the table near the southwest side entrance of the zendo.

Fitness Hike: Indian Tree, 9-11am, fast-paced adventure on a 4+ mile loop. The emphasis of the hike is to get your heart pumping and burn calories! Meet at the trailhead on Vineyard Rd in Novato.
