Museum: Nowruz means "The New Day" and is traditionally celebrated in Iran, Afghanistan, and other middle eastern regions at this time of year. This spring festival of Persian origin has been celebrated for over 3,000 years. Join us!

Jump over a pretend fire to bring health in the new year. Check out our Haft Seen table, which is a traditional table setting of all the symbols of spring that families use to celebrate the spring equinox. Senobar Lanigan, originally from Iran, will be on hand to share the history of Nowruz and the meaning of the symbols on the Haft Seen table.
