Peter Pan – Broadway San Jose
This high-flying musical has been delighting audiences of all ages for close to seventy years and is now being brought back to life in a new adaptation by celebrated playwright Larissa FastHorse and directed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price.
The adventure begins when Peter Pan and his mischievous fairy sidekick Tinker Bell visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of pixie dust and a few happy thoughts, the children are taken on a magical journey that none of them will ever forget.
Featuring the iconic, timeless songs “I’m Flying”, “I Gotta Crow”, “I Won’t Grow Up” and “Neverland” and an extraordinary experience full of magic, excitement and adventure, Peter Pan embraces the child in us all. Go on a journey from the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning… your entire family will be Hooked!

In celebration of the beginning of the 2024 baseball season, the Marcus Shelby Orchestra will present excerpts from Shelby's Black Ball: The Negro Leagues and the Blues, a suite that honors the history of Black baseball. The music includes songs, text, and instrumental compositions about Satchel Paige, Rube Foster, Effa Manley , Jackie Robinson, Toni Stone, barnstorming territory bands, umpires, and much more.
