We are hosting a special session of Camp Congress just for girls ages 6 to 7. Mini Camp Congress for Girls San Francisco 2019 is an introduction to the United States political system for young girls. Camp begins with a lesson on the structure of the U.S. political system, the process of running for office and voting in the United States. Each girl will create a platform of issues she cares about most, create her own campaign poster and record a campaign ad. Camp will culminate with the girls convening a Congress and passing their own bill. All girls will serve as members of Congress.
