Join us for a morning of family fun!
Explore the vibrant Nurtured Seedling garden space, where kids can plant seeds, make nature-inspired crafts, and learn about the environment in the most hands-on way. Whether you're a budding gardener or just looking for a fun family outing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
-Creative Garden-Inspired Project Stations for kids ages 3-10
-Collaborative Mural that kids can add their personal touch to by drawing their favorite garden crops, plants, flowers, and critters.
-Interactive Story and Music Time with beloved local children’s book author, Sabrina Moyle of Hello!Lucky Kids, reading the adorable book, A Seed Will Grow, followed by songs and music with local musician Chano Tizon.
-Book Nook where families can cozy up and explore our library of favorite kids’ gardening books.
-Recycling and Composting Learning Station, including meeting our resident earth worms.
-Hand-Me-Down Harvest: A Kids Clothing Swap: A thoughtfully curated clothing exchange for families in our community. Bring gently loved kids clothing to share and swap sustainably while connecting with other local families. (Instructions to follow.)
-Seasonal Bites for the kiddos -because we always need snacks!
- Seasonal pies and treats from local pastry chef available for purchase
-Nurtured Seedling Seed Little Library and a Seed Bar - The library has been a resource for the surrounding community to promote sustainability, encourage local gardening, and foster a sense of sharing and connection among community members.
Things to know:
Because of the intimate size of the space and it being in a home garden, we ask that you RSVP if you actually intend on coming. We get it, things come up, but we want to ensure we have enough snacks and supplies for all that want to attend!
First 10 people to RSVP will get a goodie bag. (Must be present to receive. One goodie bag per family.)
Come by anytime during the event, but please note that story/music time is 10:30-11. You won’t want to miss it!
