From rock, reggae, and funk to Latin, soul, and everything in between, this fourteen-week series delivers high-energy performances that keep Courthouse Square bopping and rocking and features top-tier talent from across the Bay and beyond. The season kicks off with the electrifying Santana Tribute of Carnaval and wraps up with the infectious pop and soul of Pride & Joy. With its welcoming ambience, unbeatable weather, and cozy "Living Room" feel, the Square is the perfect spot to unwind with loved ones and friends. LA GENTE SF was born in the Mission District of San Francisco and is currently based in Madrid, Spain. The group is led by Rafa Sarria Bustamante: singer-songwriter and voting member of the Recording Academy/Grammy's. LA GENTE SF has created their own unique blend of World Music, Cumbia, Reggae, Salsa, and Reggaeton. Their music and live shows fuse together rhythms, dances and cultural influences from all over Latino America and the Caribbean with a distinct San Francisco flavor, to create an infectious, high energy dance party. The Band is currently on their 2025 World Tour with dates in the US, Spain, Mexico & more.
