Celebrate the season aboard our annual Santa Trains, with two ways to experience the holiday magic this year.

Santa Trains — Saturdays & Sundays

Museum Hours: 1:00 PM–8:30 PM

Experience the magic of the holidays aboard the Western Railway Museum’s annual Santa Trains! Enjoy a festive winter train ride, spectacular holiday lights, and a visit with Santa Claus, who will greet each guest with a special golden bell.

Families can also write letters to Santa, create holiday ornaments, and enjoy seasonal coffee, hot cocoa, sweet treats, and other holiday activities throughout the Museum.

Your ticket is for a specific train departure time, so please arrive early to check in and enjoy the festivities before your ride.

Santa Starlight Experience — Friday Evenings

Looking for a different way to experience the Museum during the holidays? Join us Friday evenings for the Santa Starlight Experience, a more intimate and elevated holiday celebration for families, couples, and friends.

Step into a festive atmosphere filled with sparkling holiday lights, seasonal decorations, music, and activities throughout the Visitor Center. Enjoy seasonal food, hot cocoa, coffee, sweet treats, and other holiday favorites.

The evening also includes a magical nighttime train ride, a visit with Santa Claus, writing letters to Santa, creating holiday ornaments, and more holiday experiences throughout the Museum.

Whether you join us for Santa Trains on Saturday or Sunday or experience the Museum after dark during Santa Starlight on Friday evening, make the Western Railway Museum part of your family’s holiday tradition.
