No laborious Labor Day in sight. Just relax and enjoy a waterfront respite. 

If you're looking for a mini vacation (close to home), Shoreline Lake will be the South Bay's antidote for the hectic pace of life in Silicon Valley, with three laid-back days of fun outdoor activities during Labor Day weekend. (Weekend hours will be in effect for both the Boathouse and Retail Shop through Monday, September 6th.)

Please note that individual barbecuing is not allowed within the park. If you would like to bring a picnic, though, there is ample space on the lawn and surrounding grounds. With the American Bistro currently closed for renovations, only select snacks and refreshments will be available at the Retail Shop.

Also, this lovely area is quite popular over the three-day Labor Day weekend, and equipment tends to get booked quickly. To ensure everyone has fun, we strongly recommend making making equipment rental reservations in advance.
