Union City

  • Venues around Union City Union City, CA (map)

Union City's Neighborhoods are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide to observe National Night Out (NNO) - America's Night Out Against Crime (NNO).

This night promotes police-community partnerships; crime, drug, and violence prevention; safety; and neighborhood unity. NNO, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, now involves over 38.5 million people and 16,500 communities nationwide, from Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.

NNO is designed to:

(1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;

(2) Generate support for, and participate in, local anti-crime efforts;

(3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships;

(4) Send a message to criminals, letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

This year, the Union City Police Department will host one location in the Union Landing Shopping Center.

We will have activities, music, food, and entertainment. UC patrol officers, members of the UCPD, California Highway Patrol (CHP), Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD), and city officials will be in attendance.

Take advantage of the opportunity to check our specialty vehicles like our: SWAT truck, Mobile Command Vehicle, Drones, Robots, and many of our other first responder vehicles too.
