You’re invited to a celebration of animals at the UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley. This family-friendly day is chock-full of fun and suitable for all ages. Enjoy drop-in experiences including interactive booths and displays, crafts, tours, live animals to see and touch, and more! Learn about bees and watch them work at the demonstration beehive, take a kid-friendly docent tour in the Garden to find butterflies, or discover bugs with the Essig Museum of Entomology. Things That Creep will bring snakes and lizards to touch and hold. Get up close to raptors and bats with the Lindsay Wildlife experts. Learn about newts with the Garden's expert docents. Bring a picnic and enjoy the live music on the lawn. Costumes are encouraged! This event will occur rain or shine.
