Free-flowing event - come and go as you like

Mount Tamalpais is a cool place with a lot of cool rocks. But have you ever wondered what those rocks are and how and when those rocks were formed? This event allows kids to bring their questions about Mt Tam’s geologic history and rocks, and to take a closer look at some of those rocks using microscopes.

We will also have story time intervals, using the excellent “A Stone is a Story” by Leslie Barnard Booth to introduce younger rock enthusiasts to the different types of rocks.”
