Rosh Hashanah Family Festival

  • JCCSF 3200 California Street San Francisco, CA, 94118 United States (map)

Drop by for kid-friendly crafts and explore holiday traditions for all ages with local artists and educators. Feel the pulse of the season as you find your rhythm with Drummm’s uplifting percussion circles, and tune into the gentle buzz of nature with the SF Beekeepers Association, exploring the fascinating vibrations of the hive. Refresh your spirit, set your intentions for the year ahead, and savor apples, honey and other sweet flavors of the season.

10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Rosh Hashanah rituals, kid-friendly crafts, drum circle, ice cream, bee exploration, holiday flavors and more.

11:30 am: Live musical performance with Jonathan Bayer and the Adar Brass Band.

Donate non-perishable food and household goods at JFCS’s Annual High Holidays Food Drive to help thousands of people in our community struggling with food insecurity. We’ll have a collection bin in our atrium begining August 18 and continuing through October 13.

Take a peek at all of our High Holidays offerings. From lectures to lunches, to an inspirational playlist – we have options for you and your loved ones to reflect and renew to launch a New Year.

All are welcome at this event – please select the cost option that’s best for your family. The $18 option supports our large holiday celebrations. Thank you!
