Free kite festival at Candlestick Park! Decorate a kite, listen to music, go fishing and enjoy the outdoors.Welcome to Kite By The Bay! Join us at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. for a day of kite-flying fun, hosted by California State Parks, Faces SF and Parks California. Let your colorful kites soar as you enjoy the ocean breeze and bay views. Decorate a kite, learn to fish and visit family activity tables from organizations including the Randall Museum and the Exploratorium. We'll also have a DJ and a taco truck. Don't miss this chance to connect with nature and community.
