11 AM-2 PM Join Ebb & Flow artists Chieko Shimizu Fujioka and Margaret Luo for a live activity. Margaret will guide an interactive paint-by-numbers mural where guests are welcome to join in and paint alongside the artist, and Chieko will showcase works in progress and samples from other projects, giving guests a unique insight into her creative process.
11 AM-2 PM & 3-6 PM Get crafty with us! Experience history through creative trends throughout the decades. Make a box-stitched lanyard, create and decorate your pebble pal, based on the Pet Rock craze started by Gary Dahl of Los Gatos in 1975, then bead a gecko keycharm. Perfect for artists of all ages!

11 AM-2 PM & 3-6 PM Create your own stitched artwork inspired by exhibiting artist Marie Cameron using copies of vintage images from NUMU's collection. Learn Los Gatos history while using thread on paper to create a custom keepsake.
11 AM-6 PM Lawn games
11 AM-12 PM & 3-4 PM Get a handle on local history! Guests will be taught how to hold & handle historic objects under the supervision of a Collections professional.
12-1 PM Museum educator Cheryl will lead a tour about the history of NUMU, from 1965 to now. Learn some local history and celebrate 60 years of arts & culture.
12:30 PM Youth ages 0-17 are asked to show off their groovy side with a 60s-themed costume contest. The winner will win a prize kindly donated by Automobuild!
1-2 PM Artist Marie Cameron will lead a tour of her latest work on view in the museum, Rainbow on Los Gatos, which features 17 unique artworks of silk embroidered rainbows on found photographs and vintage postcards. This limited edition series was created exclusively for NUMU Director’s Circle Members in appreciation of their unprecedented support of the museum.
2-3 PM Join curator Amy Long for a tour of Snapshots of Pride: Photographer Ted Sahl's Chronicle of the South Bay LGBTQ+ Community. This exhibit explores historical events in the South Bay LGBTQ+ community from the 1970s to 1980s.
3 PM-6 PM Hootenanny! is a 3-piece, acoustic-guitar-based band, formed in 2009. They play a wide range of great rock & pop tunes from the 60s through the 90s.
4:30 PM Guests ages 18+ are asked to strut their stuff at our 60s-themed costume contest!
