There are nearly 20 million college students in the US. The national average of first-year persistence is 73.9%. Of those, the national average for a 6-year graduation rate is less than 65%. Going to college isn’t a guarantee of graduating. College is an expensive investment if a student isn’t sure what they want to do. College isn’t going anywhere. Explore other options now.
