Join us in kicking off 2023 National Safe Boating Week at this exciting, fun & free family event.

  • FREE Life Jackets (while supplies last),

  • Coast Guard, Fire, & Police Boats & Trucks,

  • Explore inside a CHP helicopter,

  • Friendly Search & Rescue Dogs,

  • “Coastie” the Remotely Operated Vehicle,

  • Knot tying & heaving line tosses,

  • Interactive cliff rescue practice,

  • Marine radio communications,

  • Clean boating kit giveaways,

  • Paddle craft safety & free ID stickers,

  • And a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer demonstration!

There is plenty of free parking.

This event is hosted by U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12 (Sausalito-Tiburon), with support from Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14 (Central Marin) and Eleventh District Northern Region members.
