The Marine Mammal Center REOPENS Monday, February 10

The Marine Mammal Center is excited to unveil new visitor experiences that explores our global conservation work – from the Center’s field-work around the world with Hawaiian monk seals to a glimpse at the groundbreaking scientific research happening right here in Sausalito that’s shaping conservation efforts worldwide.

Tablet Tour

Starting February 10, check out The Marine Mammal Center’s refreshed visitor center and your readers can sign up for a brand-new interactive tablet tour that will explore the inner workings of the Center’s Sausalito hospital through videos, staff + volunteer interviews and quizzes!

Guided Tours and Behind-the-Scenes Experiences

Starting February 10, the whole family will enjoy a trip to the gorgeous Marin Headlands where they can hear amazing tales of marine mammal rescue and survival via a guided tour. Sign up for an even closer look at the action and explore the inner workings of our hospital when you book a Behind-the-Scenes experience. Book online!

Marine Science Sundays

Looking for some FREE weekend fun? Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month for Marine Science Sunday – an engaging ocean-inspired classroom series from our education experts. These interactive classroom programs are great for all ages! Check out our website to learn more!

Camp Sea Quest

Looking for a summer day camp in the San Francisco Bay Area? Located in the Marin Headlands in Sausalito, The Marine Mammal Center’s Camp Sea Quest is a week-long marine science camp designed to give elementary and middle school-age kids the chance to dive into marine science and ocean conservation. Through real science experiments, hands-on learning opportunities and nature-led programming, campers will discover the wonders of marine mammals and learn how we are all connected to the ocean.

Interactive Exhibits

Check out our interactive exhibit next to the fish kitchen! Guests of all ages can meet even more patients – and find out how they learn to eat fish – through fun photos, videos and a Sustainable Seafood trivia game. It’s a great way to explore the Center and provides simple actions guests can take to make a difference in the lives of marine mammals.

The Marine Mammal Center is open to the public daily from 10 AM – 4 PM.
