Sunday Streets 2022 Is Back

Sunday Streets SF is returning in 2022 with 6 big, beautiful mile plus long routes in historic neighborhoods between April and September, 11am-4pm, and the second annual Phoenix Day citywide on October 16th, 2022.

Sunday Streets is San Francisco’s open streets program that transforms miles of city streets into car-free community spaces for kids to play, seniors to stroll, businesses and organizations to connect, and neighbors to meet.


May 22nd, 11am-4pm

The streets of Bayview for an afternoon of fun for the whole family. Stay tuned for the new route and get ready to enjoy over a mile of car-free streets in the sunny side this spring. Map coming soon.



On September 18th, 2022, Sunday Streets SF will open up the streets of Western Addition for an afternoon of fun for the whole family. Taking place on Fillmore St, Fulton St and Baker St, neighbors and visitors alike will have over a mile of car-free streets to enjoy.

October 16th, 2021 will mark the second annual Phoenix Day with a fun-filled program taking place across the City. From neighbor-hosted block parties, to sidewalk sales, and family fun hubs –  Phoenix Day has something in store for everyone!
