The Nihonmachi Street Fair considers itself the original “melting pot” of street fairs, with many aspects of Asian-Pacific American life—and San Francisco’s cultural life—expressed through performance, tradition, art, music, food, and community outreach and service.
Celebrating Filipino and Filipino-American arts and culture, the 25th annual Pistahan features 2 days of art pavilions and stages highlighting contemporary and traditional music, dance, art, crafts, cuisine and artifacts.
There’s something for everyone: live music on two stages, arts & crafts vendors, excellent local food, cider, microbrews & wine, contests & activities, Children’s Corner, Chef’s Tent, Artisan Tasting Lounge, Do-It-Yourself Arena, Life on the Farm Arena and of course our famous heirloom Gravenstein apples.
Sunday Streets is excited to return to its newest route in SoMa this August, spanning Folsom Street from Essex to 10th Street to and creating 1.3 miles of temporary open space for the community to enjoy.
Friday Nights on Main are a much loved community tradition in Tiburon....the block party to end all block parties! Main Street is closed to traffic for the evening and local restaurants set up table outside, creating a warm, inviting venue in which to enjoy live music and wine & dine al fresco.
