There are lots of cool stores where you can shop for back-to-school essentials at The Marin Country Mart. And while you are here, explore and enjoy this Septembers fun and free family activities.

WildCare at Sunday Lunch

Sunday, September 18, 11:30 AM 1:30 PM

Stop by WildCare’s van with your little ones to learn about California’s wildlife. This interactive presentation provides children with the opportunity to be hands-on with animals they wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience up close, leaving them with a strengthened sense of responsibility toward preserving our planet through taxidermy, skeletons, bio-facts and more.

Try-It Truck

Sunday, September 25, 11:30am-1:30pm

Bring your kids to the Try-It Truck at the Marin Country Mart, courtesy of the Children's Discovery Museum in San Francisco. Children can play in the Imagination Playground, learn at the Take-It-Apart station, test the speeds of different cars at the Testing Ramps, create “flying machines” at the Up, Up and Away station and even build mazes for hexbugs (small, vibrating bug toys). Join us from 11:30am to 1:30pm by the food trucks.

Outdoor Movie Nights

We're excited to bring back outdoor movies this summer. There will be Disney hits and other family classics. Movies start later this month, stay tuned on Instagram for opening night!
