Engaging and Hilarious Mean Girls Now at the Golden Gate Theater

NOW THROUGH FEBRUARY 26 ∙ TICKETS ON SALE NOW

After almost a thousand performances on Broadway and 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Mean Girls has arrived at the Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco.  This comical hit musical highlights the complexities of navigating high school as the new girl in town.

Cady Heron has spent her young life as a homeschool kid on the African savannah.  When her parents uproot and move to the other side of the world landing in a suburb outside Chicago Cady finds herself the new kid at North Shore High.   All of this being new to her, Cady just wants to fit in but finds herself unprepared for the social antics that are often the part of being a normal teenager.  Often comparing the mean popular girl, Regina George, to a predatory lioness, Cady devises a plan to bring her down but quickly finds herself ensnared and on the losing end. Along the way Cady learns that trying to be something you aren't in an effort to be accepted is not a winning formula.  But, with difficult lessons learned there is a way to make things work out for everyone.

Engaging and hilarious, this is a musical that will be enjoyed by teenagers and adults alike.
