Fall, Friends, Food and Art are there to be discovered under the Redwoods at the 61st Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival in Old Mill Park.  Experience two full days of fine arts and crafts for sale from 130 local and national artists plus live music, children’s entertainment and art projects.

Announcing four new and exciting components to the Festival:

This year we honor local artist and theater set designer Steve Coleman who will create a fanciful place in the grove sponsored by Good Earth Mill Valley. If you have ever been in the 142 Throckmorton Theatre you have seen Steve’s work, not only on the stage but also throughout the entire magical, whimsical interior.  Steve is also the set designer for the Curtain Theater as well as regional theaters. Coleman, a native of Mill Valley is a Milley awardee and a local treasure.

Discover a temporary art installation by San Francisco artist Ann Belden who is building a wattle fence modeled after the “Old Mill” quilt pattern in the creek!

The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival (MVFAF) is excited to announce the launch of the Friends of MVFAF Membership Program.  The non-profit Friends of MVFAF was established to foster art appreciation and education in our community, encourage local artists, and create a network of arts supporters in the area.  To fulfill that mission, the organization supports the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival and maintains its decades-long tradition of providing a community-run art showcase in Mill Valley, funds programs and scholarships for emerging artists, and brings together like-minded fans of the arts.  Learn more about the Friends of MVFAF and become a Founding Member at friendsmvfaf.org.

Check out the NEW Kids’ Art Grove!  Bring your children by the new art grove (located behind the children’s grove) to create their own one-of-a-kind artwork to take home!  Special thanks to KIDDO!, Once Around, and Friends of MVFAF for sponsoring this new creative space!
