Tuesday Tucks Me In: Author Luis Carlos Montalvan & his dog, Tuesday, 3:30-4:30pm, Luis will read his award-winning picture book Tuesday Tucks Me In, and brush Tuesday's teeth (his favorite activity) and his coat.  Tuesday will demonstrate the many important things he does for Luis, Mill Valley Library.

Owl Wars, 5:30-8:30pm, on this strenuous five-mile dusk hike we will look and listen for the owl, Muir Woods.

Marin Moonlight Run, 6:30pm, ages 8+, bring the flashlights or headlamps and we will provide the glow sticks and post-race goodies on a unique night time adventure weaving through the sights and sounds of two beautiful marshes, 5 Hamilton Landing, Novato.

Blackie's Hay Day, an old fashioned country fair for the whole community, pony rides, a petting zoo, toy tractor rides, carnival games, jumpies and a climbing wall, as well as wonderful entertainment and food, Blackies Pasture, Tiburon.

UTSA Free Kid's Day, 9-11am, players and lots of fun games and activities on court! Soft serve ice-cream cones on the café patio following Kids’ Day and all participants return home with a gift on behalf of USTA NorCal! Tiburon Peninsula Club.

Junior Chef Class, 10am, ages 8–13, Make Dinner for the Family, Williams-Sonoma, The Village at Corte Madera.

Marincello Walk, 11am, learn about the infamous Marincello Development was that was planned for this area. See remnants of this once popular idea. Meet at Tennessee Valley and walk up to the Miwok Trail. Bring your camera, good hiking shoes, and dress in layers.

Marine Science Sunday, 10am-5pm, takes a look at Top Predators: Sharks and Orcas. Join us for classroom presentations, Docent-led tours, and more! Marine Mammal Center, Sausalito.

Moon Festival, 10am-3pm, make paper lanterns and learning the importance of natural light in the world around us. This arts and craft project will be free along with admission for the day, Muir Woods.

Ring Mountain Eclipse, 6:30 – 9pm, join rangers for a rare chance to see an eclipse from Ring Mountain. This promises to be a beautiful and unique scene; in order for a lunar eclipse to occur the Sun, Earth, and Moon must be roughly in a straight line. Bring your cameras! Meet at the gate at the end of Taylor Rd in Tiburon.
