Summer Snow Party!

Snow in August?

The forecast calls for 2 feet of fresh snow in Mill Valley on Saturday, August 24 when Strawberry Village hosts one last summer hurrah for kids as they start the new school year. This really COOL event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon in the Piazza at Strawberry Village and will include a The Piazza will be transformed into a winter playground complete with a 20 x 60 Snow Zone with 2 feet of real snow! Plus, this End of Summer Snow Party will have live music, a photo booth, face painting, a caricature artist, and more in the event area.

The event is open to the public. Admission is $10 per person, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Kiddo! Cash or Check Only at the event on August 24th.

Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, is a non-profit 501(c3) organization made up of parents, teachers, business people, and active members of the community who, since 1982, have raised tens of millions of dollars to supplementlimited school budgets. Kiddo! funds vital programs and teachers at five elementary schools and middle school – including art, music, drama, poetry, dance, P.E., technology, teacher grants, classroom aides and library aides.
