A New Season of Community & Car-Free Fun!: Sunday Streets 2025

Get ready to hit the streets—Sunday Streets SF is back for its 17th season! Since 2008, Sunday Streets has transformed San Francisco’s streets into car-free community spaces, bringing neighbors together for a day of connection, movement, and fun.

In 2025, we’re excited to continue this tradition with two Open Streets Destinations and four Community Block Party events across the city. Each event will feature free recreational activities, health resources, live music, dance, and more—creating vibrant, people-powered spaces in the heart of SF’s neighborhoods.

Sunday Streets Tenderloin!

Sunday Streets Tenderloin is your opportunity to experience the neighborhood in a whole new way—free from cars and full of community connection, activities, and fun! As part of San Francisco’s open streets movement, this event transforms Golden Gate Avenue, between Jones and Hyde Streets, into a vibrant space for recreation, culture, and engagement. Join us from 12 PM to 4 PM on June 15th and be part of the celebration!

As part of San Francisco’s open streets movement, this event transforms Valencia St between Duboce Ave and 26th St, into a vibrant space for recreation, culture, and engagement. Join us from 11 AM to 4 PM on July 20th and be part of the celebration!
