California Coastal Cleanup Day is a state-wide cleanup event that focuses on cleaning California's shorelines, preventing plastics and other litter items from entering our waterways, and raising awareness about the harmful effects of trash in marine ecosystems. The event is part of International Coastal Cleanup Day, which is organized by the Ocean Conservancy and is the largest volunteer event in the world. Appropriate for all ages. We’ll provide snacks and water. Bring gloves and a water bottle. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel; if in doubt, text or call (415) 763-2977 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
