Ghosts, ghouls, and good old-fashioned fun are creeping back into Downtown Berkeley! The 6th Annual Halloween Hootenanny takes over MLK Jr. Civic Center Park on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, right alongside the Berkeley Farmers’ Market.
This year’s Hootenanny promises a spellbinding afternoon where hay bales line the walkways, music fills the autumn air, and families gather for a day of spooky celebration and community spirit.
Hootenanny Highlights:
Live Music: The hauntingly good rock stylings of local legends Portable Madness.
Eerie Entertainment: Fortune telling, balloons, dancing, and hay bales galore.
Family Fun: Face painting and crafts for kids of all ages.
Tasty Treats: Local food vendors plus the bounty of the Farmers’ Market.
Dress to Thrill: Costumes encouraged—whether you’re a creepy crawler, a midnight cowboy, or a pumpkin-headed trickster!
Pumpkins!
