Juneteenth (June 19th) is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Cultural events like Juneteenth celebrate the diversity of our nation and unify the community. The Park District is committed to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and making our parks, facilities, and agency more welcoming and reflective of the communities we serve. 

Join us for our Juneteenth at the Brazilian Room Seasonal Celebration Tuesday, June 16th. This will be an Open House event and great time to view the venue and meet with Approved Caterers and Preferred Vendors for snacks, music, photo ops, a good time, and more! Bring your friends and family to celebrate Juneteenth (a couple days early) at the Brazilian Room.
