Looking for a way to kick start the new year? We’ve got you covered! Come join us on January 1st, 2026, at 10:30am for a guided hike on Angel Island.

Park Interpreters will lead you on a moderate 2.5-mile (4km) roundtrip hike through the rolling hills of Angel Island on paved and unpaved trails. You’ll get to learn about the natural and historic resources on the island while taking in wonderful views of the San Francisco Bay. If we’re lucky, we may even see some wildlife! Please wear layers, good walking shoes, and bring water and a snack/lunch.

PLEASE NOTE: Only Angel Island-Tiburon Ferry is running on New Years Day. Catch the 10am ferry from downtown Tiburon. The San Francisco Golden Gate Ferry is not running on January 1st, 2026.
