Come join us for an uplifting traditional Japanese New Year's Day celebration at the IDESST Cultural Center, just up the street from Sushi Ran restaurant.

  • Watch the breaking of the sake barrel, a fun old Japanese tradition

  • Participate in the sambon-jime hand clapping ceremony

  • Enjoy a spirited taiko drumming performance by Sonoma County Taiko

  • Be uplifted by the stirring vocal performance by 'Til Dawn
