Union Landing (in Union City, CA) is making history with its first Filipino American History Month celebration—Sama-Sama Fest. Inspired by the Filipino phrase sama-sama (“together”), the festival is a cultural gathering that honors the stories, heritage, and contributions of the Filipino American community in the Bay Area.

As Union City’s newest signature event, Sama-Sama Fest plans to highlight the strong Filipino American presence in the region while creating an inclusive space for all communities to celebrate culture & history together.
