What is Africa Day?
Africa Day is celebrated around the world each year on May 25, commemorating the founding of the Organization of African Unity (now the African Union) in 1963.
The day honors the unity, culture, and global contributions of African nations and the African diaspora.
Communities across the world celebrate Africa Day through music, art, food, storytelling, and cultural gatherings that highlight the beauty and diversity of African traditions.
