As dusk falls, we’ll explore the trails around the campground, keying in the sounds of the darkening forest. We hope to catch the hoot of a great-horned owl, or the soft chur of a tiny Western screen owl. And we will look up into the twilight, catching the silhouette of bats as they whirl through the air, using sonar to locate flying insects. Experience the hidden side of nature that only comes alive after dusk.
