In the spirit of TED's mission of "Ideas Worth Spreading," TEDx is a global program of independently organized events licensed by TED. Each TEDx event brings communities together through thought-provoking talks, meaningful conversations, and inspiring ideas, while following TED's guidelines and standards.

Founded in 2023, TEDxLeadways is a student-led TEDx event created to empower Bay Area high school students to think critically, share their perspectives, and inspire others through ideas. Organized by students and supported by mentors, TEDxLeadways has become a platform where young voices take center stage, developing confidence, leadership, and communication skills while engaging in conversations that matter.

Learning is more than gaining knowledge. It's about curiosity, growth, resilience, and the courage to see the world from new perspectives. TEDxLeadways 2026 invites Bay Area high school students to explore the many ways learning shapes who we are and who we can become.
