Join us for the annual Call of the Wild Festival, a fun-filled community celebration presented by Jack London Park Partners. This lively event invites local families, visitors, and community partners to enjoy a memorable day of live music, delicious food, guided hikes and tours, children’s art activities, craft demonstrations, and tractor-pulled hayrides.
Now in its fifth year, the festival is a wonderful way to experience the park’s natural beauty and history while celebrating the adventurous spirit of Jack and Charmian London.

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Family & Friends Hike – Sign up here!
This hike will take you through the ranch and up to London Lake. For those who prefer to return early for the festivities, a guide will lead you back (~2.2 miles roundtrip, moderate). For those looking to add a bit more adventure, a hike leader will continue on to the Ancient Redwood (~3.5 miles roundtrip, moderate).

Join us at the House of Happy Walls for a special storytelling experience with Brandon Spars, as he shares stories from Tales of the Fish Patrol, inspired by Jack London’s experiences as a teenager on the San Francisco Bay in the early 1890s.
Brandon is an educator, author, and accomplished storyteller who weaves together ancient history and narrative, with four published books, a TEDx talk, and performances at renowned storytelling festivals, including the National Storytelling Festival.
