It’s Feast for the Beasts at Oakland Zoo -- a celebration of all things food! This is your chance to go into our spacious, 6.5 acre elephant exhibit to lay out their breakfast treats.*
Main Entrance doors open early at 9:00am and the first 250 guests will receive a golden ticket to spread produce in the elephant exhibit. Once all the food is in place, everyone exits the exhibit to watch the hungry herd chow down on their treats. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind experience!
Visitors are encouraged to donate fresh produce including apples, watermelon, grapes, carrots, lettuce, or other delicious fruits and vegetables to help feed the animals and will be thanked for their donation with a free kid's ride ticket.
Please park in the Upper Parking Lot and proceed to the Main Entrance. Limited Special Tickets for entry to the elephant exhibit will be handed out starting at 9:00am. All other event activities will be located throughout the Zoo.
Strollers are not allowed in the Elephant Exhibit. In the event of mud or rain, entering the Elephant Exhibit will be prohibited and our keepers will distribute the produce.
*Please note elephants are not inside the exhibit during produce spread.
