Here’s a fantastic and easy way to introduce your young explorers to the importance of caring for our natural spaces. Bring children ages 2 and older to take part in three fun activities. First, kids can help create a special sign focusing on the importance of protecting nature and our park. Or they can join a walk to help pick up litter in and around the village and China Camp Point. Finally, they will use found objects to create “litter creatures.” All participants will receive an official Junior Ranger logbook and badge.
This drop-in event offers a meaningful, hands-on opportunity for young stewards and their families to contribute to the continued health of the park, while learning about the role of conservation in protecting our shared outdoor spaces.
