Get your kids ready to learn, explore, and have fun by the bay at a special “drop-in” event. Come anytime between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to have your little explorers take part in an age-appropriate activity. Older kids (ages 7 to 12) can try nature journaling, using keen observations to focus on the coastal environment around them—birds, bugs, even sand. Pint-size explorers (ages 2 to 6) can join a shoreline scavenger hunt to connect with nature in a hands-on way. All kids will receive an official California State Parks “Junior Ranger” badge.
