Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center is excited to offer a nine-week afterschool program at its unique waterfront campus on Crissy Field. Our students study marine biology with a focus on field studies and fun experiential learning. Sessions include crab fishing, netting plankton samples for microscope study, bird watching on the beach, sand crab monitoring in the swash zone, squid dissections in our pier classroom, and more! Our highly skilled educators tailor their classes to meet the needs of individual students. This program is a great match for youth interested in animals and protecting our ocean.
