Join us! The Hometown Days Parade on Laurel Street is on Saturday morning, May 17, and begins at 9:45 a.m. from Central Middle School.
It circles around for all to see and is a highlight of the Hometown Days weekend. Contingents include antique vehicles, floats, fire and sheriff vehicles, marching bands, dance troupes, local organizations, and more! Applications are closed, we look forward to seeing you there!

Art Contest at San Carlos Hometown Days
Embrace the spirit of San Carlos and unleash your artistic flair in the Centennial Coloring Contest! Calling all young artists to showcase their creativity and passion for our beloved community. This year, the contest has been expanded to ages 6-12! In addition to the prize winners being recognized on Saturday, May 17 at 12:30 p.m. at the Madsen Field Stage, we will also be highlighting the winners of this year's Centennial Coloring Contest at the May 27, 2025, City Council Meeting and have their art on display at City Hall from May 19, 2025 - June 30, 2025! All coloring pages and artwork submissions are due to the San Carlos Youth Center (1001 Chestnut Street) by Friday, May 9th
Fun Run, May 18, 2025
The Bruce M. Paris Memorial Rotary Club Fun Run is back on May 18, 2025 at 8:30 AM. The Fun Run is a family-friendly 5K/10K Fun Run, raising funds for student scholarships and other charitable causes. Prizes are awarded for overall 5K & 10K winners as well as medals for 2nd and 3rd place winners. Fun Run t-shirts are available for all runners! Registration fees will increase on May 1, 2025.
