Over 100 Artists, Food, a Beer Garden, Kids Art and Live Music at the historic Hunters Point Shipyard
Step Inside a Landmark. Walk Out with Art.
Most people have never set foot inside Hunters Point Shipyard — one of San Francisco's most fascinating hidden landmarks. Twice a year, this historic naval base transforms into the city's biggest art event, when the artists who call it home open their studio doors to the public.
This spring, explore the working studios of over 100 painters, sculptors, jewelers, ceramicists, photographers, and more — all in one walkable weekend.
What to Expect:
100+ Open Studios – Wander freely through studios spanning painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, ceramics, metalwork, and beyond. Talk directly with the artists and take home original work.
Silent Art Auction – Bid on works from participating Open Studios artists — a perfect way to discover the range of talent on display and support the artists and the event.
Live Music – Jazz and classical performances throughout the weekend.
Food & Drinks – Local food vendors plus a beer and wine garden.
Kids Welcome – Hands-on art activities with Art Rocks Clubhouse.
Shipyard Clean-Up Displays – Learn about the ongoing environmental restoration of this historic site.
