Annual free lifesaving skills event are scheduled for multiple locations August 15.
Sidewalk CPR will take place on Saturday, August 15, from 10 AM to 2 PM, at 13 outdoor locations across Marin County. In just a few minutes, participants of all ages will receive training in:
Hands-Only CPR – manual technique proven to aid in survival until medical help arrives
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use – a device that helps get the heart back in rhythm
Stop the Bleed – techniques that can help stop excessive bleedings
Naloxone administration – nasal spray that can quickly and safely reverse the effects of an opioid overdose

The Sidewalk CPR program is part of Marin County’s ongoing effort to increase public access to lifesaving knowledge and empower community members to act with confidence during an emergency.
