Spend the weekend soaking up FREE live music, getting groovy at our DIY tie-dye station, checking out colorful memorabilia, shopping special offers, enjoying limited-time dining specials and, of course, hanging with the world-famous sea lions.
FREE LIVE MUSIC ALL WEEKEND LONG
Get your fill of classic psychedelic rock, jam-band favorites and feel-good tunes with live performances from incredible Bay Area bands inspired by the music that defined a generation. Grab a spot, turn up the good vibes and dance your way through the weekend!
MAKE YOUR OWN DIY TIE-DYE
Bring your inner flower child and get creative at our FREE, all-ages tie-dye station! Stop by the Mid-PIER Saturday & Sunday from 12–5 PM to make your own colorful tie-dye masterpiece.
Bandanas will be provided, or bring something from home you'd like to tie-dye. And while you’re there, be one of the first 200 guests each day to snag a limited-edition Summer of Love Salty the Sea Lion sticker for a groovy memento!
CELEBRATE LOVE ON HAIGHT'S GRAND OPENING
Celebrate the grand opening of Love on Haight’s new PIER 39 location with a colorful tie-dye fashion show featuring bold looks, retro vibes and plenty of flower-power inspiration!
SHOP, DINE & SPREAD THE LOVE
Explore participating PIER 39 businesses for unique Grateful Dead and Summer of Love-inspired memorabilia, apparel and gifts, plus special offers and limited-time menu items. Participating restaurants will also be donating a portion of proceeds from featured specials to The Rex Foundation, a charitable organization founded by members of the Grateful Dead, their families and friends.
And yes, you can sip and stroll! Guests 21+ can enjoy alcoholic beverages from participating restaurants within PIER 39’s designated Entertainment Zone while taking in the music, festivities and those iconic Bay views.
